Accounts Assistant
Job Summary:
The Accounts Assistant provides administrative support to Accountants by performing clerical tasks such as recording, data entry, filing; support with business accounting activities; handling emails and inquiries; processing and recording transactions; basic bookkeeping; analyzing and ensuring accuracy of finance requests and records.
Qualifications & Profile:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree; evidence that ACCA or CIMA studies are underway; at least two years’ work experience as an Accounts Assistant; familiarity with basic accounting principles; ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately; competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with computer ledger system; high level of accuracy; a mature and practicing Christian who upholds the University’s Core values and Instruments of Identity.
