Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor's Degree in Economics; or Statistics; or Business Administration (Management Option); or Monitoring and Evaluation plus a Masters Degree in Economics; or Statistics; or Business Administration (Management Option); or Monitoring and Evaluation from a recognized University or Institution.
Working Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of nine (9) years relevant working experience; three (3) of which should have been served at a Principal Officer level in Government or a reputable organization.
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Secretary/Commissioner for performing the following duties:-
- Developing and reviewing NGO monitoring and evaluation guidelines, policies and standards;
- Conducting regular NGO monitoring and evaluation programs/ surveys on NGO projects and activities in the country;
- Developing; reviewing and operationalising monitoring and evaluation systems and activity tracking tool;
- Monitoring and evaluating effectiveness and impact of the Bureau's services on NGOs;
- Conducting surveys to establish the impact of NGOs initiatives on the public and the local communities where they operate;
- Coordinating development and review of CBO guidelines and NGO monitoring committee guidelines;
- Coordinating the Monitoring and Evaluation operations of the Department, Branch Offices, Districts and Sub County NGO Monitoring Committees;
- Supervising operations of District and Sub County NGO Monitoring Committees;
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
