BID NOTICE FOR ENGINEERING, PROCUREMENT AND CONSTRUCTION OF WATER SUPPLY SYSTEMS
Heifer Project International (HPI) is a global development organization on a mission to end hunger and poverty while caring for the Earth. HPI in partnership with Aqua for All is implementing a project titled "Water for Dairy Business" to stimulate and commercialize access to safe and clean water for dairy farm- ing communities in Kiboga district. The project intends to conduct a tendering process for Engineering, Procurement and Construction of Water Supply Systems in Kiboga District under Procurement Reference number: HPI/A4A/W4DB/2023/08
The Entity now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the construction of the above works. 2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information regarding the bidding documents at the address given below from 10:00 hours to 16:00 hours.
The Bidding documents in English will be accessed by interested bidders on the submission of a written application or email to procurement-ug@heifer.org.
There shall be a site visit and pre-bid meeting on 18th August 2023 at 10am, at Dwaniro Sub- County headquarters in Kiboga District. Additional questions can be sent to procurement-ug@heifer.org not later than 21st August 2023 and responses will be provided by 22nd August 2023.
Only successful bidders shall be contacted. If you do not get feedback within two months after the submission deadline, consider your bid unsuccessful.
HPI is under no obligation to award to the lowest or any bidder and may cancel the whole process when it deems fit without giving any prior justification or notification to any prospective bidder(s). 7. No bid shall be received after this deadline, HPI will not be held responsible for bids delivered to wrong address or rejected due to late submission.
HPI shall in no way be held responsible for any cost incurred by any bidder during or after the
conception, preparation, or submission of the bids.
Bids must be delivered and registered to the address below before 04:00PM, on 28th August 2023. All bids must be accompanied with a bid security of UGX 20,000,000/- (Uganda Shillings twenty million shillings only) in form of a Bank Guarantee from any recognized commercial bank in Ugan- da.
Hard copy bid documents shall be issued, and delivered at: The Heifer International Uganda offices Plot 01, Yusuf Lule Road, Nakasero PO Box 28491 Kampala, Uganda
