Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to increase market share and achieve financial growth targets in the hazardous waste and water treatment sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with potential clients and partners.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to provide insights and recommendations for business strategy adjustments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and propose customized solutions that meet client requirements while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients, presenting the value and benefits of partnering with Aldelia's expert services.
  • Manage customer accounts and ensure exceptional service delivery, maintaining long-term and profitable relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development within the hazardous waste and/or water treatment industries.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements in Uganda and the wider region.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive results in a competitive environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
