JOB DETAILS:
Centenary Foundation is a company limited by guarantee with no share capital, a subsidiary of Centenary Rural Development Group Limited (The Centenary Group). It is incorporated as a no-profit company, sponsored by the Centenary Group and the registered Trustees of the Uganda Episcopal Conference.
The Foundation will contribute to the Triple bottom line of People, Planet and Profit, while working with communities, without excluding the peculiar community needs. While the Foundation shall be supported by contributions from the Centenary Group subsidiaries, it shall also raise funds through local and foreign partners and any other channels that may be agreed upon by management and the Board.
The Foundation will continuously connect to the Group’s customers, the environment and all the stakeholders to remain socially impactful in communities in which it operates.
ABS Consulting Group has been retained by the Centenary Group to assist recruit a Centenary Foundation Chief Executive Officer, (CEO) with proven skills and competencies.
Job Title: Chief Executive Officer .
Description of the purpose of the job;
• The CEO shall be responsible for providing leadership and direction in fulfilling and advancing the mission of the Foundation.
• The CEO is responsible for leading the Foundation in its achievement of its operational and strategic goals including the success of the Foundation’s fund and donor development, fiscal management, grants and program operations, board relations, human capital management, community relations and administrative matters, which are consistent with the foundation values, mission, vision and purpose.
• The CEO will be responsible for fulfilling the purpose of expansion and diversification without interfering with Bank operations through among other ways, scaling up the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities in the subsidiaries.
