Qualifications and Experience:
• The candidate should have a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences and Humanities or its equivalent. Four years’ of experience in management position from an academic institution, administrative and organizational skills.
• The candidate should have three years hands-on practical experience as a Lecturer, Assistant Registrar or the equivalent in a reputable academic Institution.

Personal Attributes:
• S/he should possess a high degree of integrity, be morally upright and highly committed to the mission of the University.
• S/he must have good interpersonal relationship skills, a team player and witness to ethical values.

Key Responsibilities:
• Be Minute Secretary to the Council and its Committees and the Senate.
• Be responsible for the maintenance of Registers and other documents concerning Council, Senate, Academic Units and students.
• Deputize the Registrar in supervising all Academic matters, Admissions, Registration of Undergraduate and Graduate Students.
• Provide relevant and accurate students’ data, to support a wide variety of academic and administrative process, including monitoring procedures, internal and external reporting requirements.
• Manage collaborative linkages with institutions and organisations whose mandate relates to University Education.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Registrar.
