Job Overview
As a Sales Director at Ligadata, your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that supports the company's overall business objectives in the regions of MEA. This will involve identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities and collaborating with key stakeholders across the organization to drive revenue growth.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Ability to develop an understanding of the company’s business and offerings in short order.
• Understanding of Telcos business and specific verticals expertise within at least 3 key BUs (marketing – CVM, pricing, S&D, IT, finance, Networks, HR, security)
• Understanding of competitive landscape: technologies delivering offerings in support of business Analytics, Cloud Analytics Platforms
• Understanding of Telco’s trends and objectives
• Ability to translate the company’s offerings to customers to deepen engagement and generate new revenue streams.
• Ability to translate business unit requirements into company product offerings, expanding the portfolio of the company while generating new revenue streams.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective lead-generation campaigns.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization, including product development, customer success, and finance, to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with broader company objectives.
• Track and report sales performance, providing regular updates to management.
• Ensure that all sales activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
• Strong Executive presence and ability to carry meetings with customer C suites.
• Strong Enterprise Sales experience is a must.
• A strong relationship with target African telco stakeholders is a must
• Self-starter and motivated is a must
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
• Knowledge of the technology industry, focusing on data management and analytics, is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability and willingness to travel as required, which is expected to be 50% or more.
• Proven track record of achieving sales quota is a must
• Knowledge of value based selling and ROI business development
• Controlling all aspects of the sales process and managing CSAT (Customer Satisfaction)
• Previous experience working with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc) is a must
