Job Summary
Planning and execution of programs, projects and activities related to the economic empowerment of women by improving their livelihoods and economic opportunities.
Key Result Areas
Oversee the delivery of Economic and Livelihoods programs and activities
Coordinate, monitor and evaluate the impact of livelihoods programs and economic empowerment initiatives
Support community outreach programs
Develop and deliver training programs on economic empowerment, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.
Identify and support income-generating opportunities for women, facilitating small-scale businesses.
Foster partnerships with local stakeholders and advocate for women’s economic opportunities and sustainable livelihoods.
Support in grant writing and activity budgeting
Education and Professional Qualifications
A degree in Economics, Social Work and Social Administration, Business Administration, Development Studies and any other relevant field is required. Practical experience in managing economic programs, poverty reduction is highly valued.
Knowledge in agriculture is desirable. Working Experience
At least 3 years’ work experience in a similar position

Excellent communication skills
Proficient in computer and Microsoft Office Suite
Good writing, presentation and analytical skills
Negotiation and advocacy skills
Linguistic skills are an added advantage Behavioural Competencies

Adaptable and flexible
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Good time management skills
