Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager with a strong background in automation, PLC programming, and electrical engineering to lead and optimize our engineering and maintenance operations. The successful candidate will drive the adoption of automation technologies, enhance process efficiency, and ensure the reliability of critical electrical and mechanical systems within our manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
• Lead automation and electrical engineering initiatives to enhance production efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PLC systems, industrial automation, and electrical infrastructure.
• Develop and execute engineering projects in compliance with budget guidelines, schedules, and technical performance parameters.
• Ensure all engineering activities align with company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Identify and implement process automation improvements to enhance product quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement proactive maintenance strategies.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to drive innovation and operational excellence.
• Stay updated with emerging automation technologies and industrial engineering trends to maintain industry leadership.
• Ensure adherence to EHS and food safety requirements in all engineering processes.
• Supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering continuous professional development.

Education, Training, Skills & Experience
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on industrial automation and PLC programming.
• Strong background in SCADA systems, industrial control systems, and robotics is an added advantage.
Key Competencies
• Proven experience in automation, electrical systems, and PLC programming.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills in electrical and automation systems.
• Proficiency in programming and maintaining Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Schneider PLCs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
