Action Group for Health, Human Rights and HIV/AIDS Uganda ( AGHA ) is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Executive Director. The Executive Director will report to the Chairperson Board of Trustees of AGHA Uganda and will be closely supervised by the Chairperson of the Executive Committee.

Job Purpose
The position of Executive Director is responsible for the leadership and management of the organization according to the strategic direction set by the Board of Trustees.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Organizational Administration and Leadership
• Board of Trustees Support & Development
• Operational planning and strategic program management
• Financial resources mobilization, planning and management
•  Policy Advocacy leadership and Media Publicity
•  Human Resource planning, development and management

Qualification requirements

• A Master’s Degree of Public Health, Social Sector Planning and Development, Development Studies, Law or Public Policy is a must
• Additional training in Project Planning and Management or Project Monitoring and Evaluation will be an added advantage
•  Six (6) years progressive senior level management experience in a busy policy advocacy organization is required.
