Job details:
On behalf of our client we seek to recruit a highly competent, motivated and professional individual to fill the position of Field Manager.

Potential candidates should be certified Seed inspectors and able to integrate into the existing leadership team and deliver results in a multicultural environment.
Prime Responsibilities:

• Management of the Seed inspectors and what they inspect preparation of detailed work plans and travel logistics/cash flow projections to ensure adequate allocation of human, financial and physical resource to complete all tasks on time.
• Be proactive in relationships with partners
• Manage customer satisfaction, and ensure timely and diplomatic communication with seed companies to optimize successful remedial action to address any difficulties,
• Ensure that the information the company gathers is correct and appropriately managed
• Maintain up to date planting returns for each company
• Ensure that the CEO at each company has a monthly report of red flagged (rejected) fields
• Evaluate the capabilities and capacity of the inspection department staff
• Mentor existing inspection department staff to build their capacity and expertise so as to make the most of their abilities

The applicant must possess the following

• BSc agriculture.
• Master’s degree an advantage,
• MUST be a Certified Seed inspector.
•  Minimum 5 years seed inspection experience
•  Minimum 1 year experience supervision of seed inspectors
•  Driving permit essential
