Key Responsibilities
• Develop company strategy, a responsive and customer orientated company culture
• Provides effective and efficient leadership in the management of the laboratory services
• Quality Control; ensure laboratory is operating consistently with high quality and safety standards according to approved procedures
• Safety, ensure safe laboratory environment is in compliance with good practice, regulations and safe from physical, chemical and biological hazards
• Recruitment; Laboratory staff must have the necessary qualifications and competence, to fulfill the technical and management duties assigned to them.
• Compliance; written policies and procedures are established and systematically reviewed periodically.
• Performance Management; performance appraisals and develop organizational development programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years proven General management experience in a fast paced diagnostic environment
• University Degree in Laboratory Services or other relevant degree (MBA in Business Management would be advantageous)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, English (.e. fluency in English is a pre-requisite).
