To provide strategic and hands-on leadership in managing all human resource functions, including recruitment, staff performance, compliance, welfare, and employee relations; ensuring a productive, motivated, and legally compliant workforce that supports the company’s operational success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and staff documentation.
  • Ensure contracts, 3Ds, and staff files are up-to-date and compliant.
  • Implement and monitor quarterly performance reviews.
  • Handle staff relations, grievances, and disciplinary processes.
  • Lead staff engagement, wellness, and development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, NSSF, PAYE, and HR policies.
  • Prepare monthly HR reports and staff insights for leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in an HR role, with at least 2 years at management/supervisory level.
  • Experience managing both casual and permanent workers is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Ugandan labor law and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Membership with a professional body is an added advantage.
