The Human Resource Manager will serve as the head of the Human Resources Department and will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that support the organization's operational and strategic objectives. The role demands a dynamic, ethical, and results-oriented professional who will ensure regulatory compliance, workforce efficiency, and a positive work culture. The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and collaborate closely with all departments to deliver value across the entire employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the Human Resources Department and its team.
- Develop and implement HR policies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and exits. - Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions. - Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal processes.
- Manage compensation, benefits, and staff welfare programs.
- Promote employee engagement and a positive work culture.
- Advise management on HR planning and workforce development.

- Coordinate training and capacity building initiatives.
- Maintain secure employee records and provide HR analytics. - Liaise with regulatory bodies and legal advisors on HR issues.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in HR Management or related field. Master's or certification is an advantage. - Minimum of 3 years leading HR in a medium to large-sized company (100+ staff).
- Knowledge of Ugandan labor laws and HR compliance.
- Experience with HR systems and managing diverse teams.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS knowledge is a plus.
- High integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
