JOB DETAILS:
• Salary Scale: PU6.1 (Teaching, Science)
• Reports to: Dean, Faculty of Agriculture

• Job Summary:
The Lecturer (Food Science) will focus on teaching, research, and innovation in food science and post-harvest technology, aiming to improve food safety and value addition.

• Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Teach and develop courses in food science and post-harvest technology.
2. Conduct research to address challenges in food preservation, safety, and value addition.
3. Supervise research projects and theses.
4. Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.

• Qualifications and Requirements:
1. A Ph.D. in Food Science, Post-Harvest Technology, or a related field.
2. Proven track record of research and publications in food science.
3. Teaching experience at the university level is an added advantage.
