JOB DETAILS:
Role of the Job:
Execute comprehensive marketing, communication and public relations plans for the Bank in line with the Bank’s Objectives.

Key Result Areas:
• Implement marketing plans for the Bank in line with the Bank’s Objectives.
• Distribute and monitor the distribution of the advertising & promotional items/ programs of the bank in line with the bank’s objectives.
• Monitor the design and update the Bank’s products and services on the website in liaison with the IT Department according to the Bank’s products, specifications Business plan & policies and notify supervisor of any changes.
• Participate in sensitizing staff on new and existing products & services in line with the marketing program.
• Ensure brand protection in the media space and ensure a favorable rating of the bank in the media.
• Regularly monitor the media space including social media and other electronic and print media and ensure positive presence and value for money.
• Implement and monitor branding aspects of the bank including branches, events etc
• Participate in organization of launches – Branch launches, product launches, exhibitions, photoshoots
• Prepare content for the publication of marketing materials and oversee the distribution.
• Support the Marketing Manager in implementing departmental activities.
• Submit period reports on marketing and branding activities.

Minimum educational and technical competence requirements
• University Degree in a Business or Communication field.
• Post graduate qualification majoring in marketing will be an added advantage
• 5 years’ experience in marketing and communication obtained in the financial sector
• 3 years working experience in Brand management.
• Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
• Understanding of the Commercial Banking business environment
