Mechanical Technician
Technology Lifecycle Management | TLM Direct
Mission
The Mechanical Technician is responsible for ensuring ontime delivery of equipment as per operational demands. The Mechanical Technician improves maintenance related non productive time ratio of the Product Line’s assets within the Maintenance Base (MB), and improves maintenance efficiency and people productivity.

Responsibilities
• These responsibilities are activities that correspond to the metro stops and key processes.
• Execute and Close-Out Maintenance Work Order
• Perform Maintenance Scheduling
• Perform Equipment Initial Maintenance Evaluation
• Reconcile Post Job Resources
• Dispose Equipment

Additional Responsibilities
• Maintain assigned equipment according to the pertinent maintenance program and compliant with the reliability centered maintenance strategy through adherence to the Computerized Maintenance Management System and standard work.
• Adhere to transactional discipline within Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems to record materials and supplies, labor costs and equipment maintenance performance history such as movements, work orders, parts used and time to maintain.
• Comply with TLM Product Line standards.
• Participate in the continuous improvement culture, initiatives and improvement plans within the MB to improve asset utilization and cost of service delivery (CoSD).
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve asset turnaround time, which includes reducing downtime due to maintenance, parts and repair authorization numbers, failures and work-in-process.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to improve the efficiency and productivity of Maintenance Technicians. Implement CoSD projects, such as the planned repair and reuse of parts.
• Participate in failure investigations as assigned.
• Comply with the TLM Competency Management System.

Experience & Exposures:
• At least 10 years’ experience in maintenance of oil field services
• Proof of 2-3 years Technical Diploma Mechanical, Mechatronicsor equivalent diploma from recent year
• At least 5 years’ experience in maintenance of oil field services equipment as Maintenance Technician in Fishing - Bits and Drilling tools.
• Solid hands-on electronics and mechanical background essential coupled with strong analytical skills
• Experience in the maintenance of all borehole enlargement tools (hole openers, Rhino reamer XS, Rhino reamer XC, DTU,XTU)
• Ability to learn quickly and translate the learning into practical solutions
• Experience in the maintenance of Drilling impacts tools (drilling jars, shock sub, drilling accelerators)
• Experience in the maintenance of Fishing tools and drilling mud motor turbo drill
• Ability to work under pressure and work effectively in Teams
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills essential
• Ability to use own initiative and committed to continuous improvement
• Good personnel skills, highly self-motivated
• Ability to follow procedures and understand engineering and/or electrical drawings
• Ability to complete paperwork in a legible manner
