Luuka Plastics Ltd. is one of the Leading Manufacturer of high quality flexible packaging materials and plastic products in East Africa. We are currently looking for competent candidates to fill the following positions that exist in our group;
JOB TITLE: PLANT MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN,
REF: LPL/PME/29/03/2021 .

REPORTING TO THE ELECTRICAL SUPERVISOR, THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL;
1. Assist in the installation of new machines, diagnose and attend to all electrical faults and breakdowns and ensure machines meet safety standards
2. Plan and implement preventive, autonomous, breakdown maintenance and enhance Health and Safety standards
3. Prepare daily performance reports and provide operational support to the Machine Operators

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE ·
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering from recognized institutions.
• 2 and above years of experience in Electrical repairs and maintenance in a manufacturing set up.
• Relevant experience in manufacturing processes is an added advantage

SKILLS AND COMPETENCES REQUIRED
• Self-motivated, excellent interpersonal, team work, customer care, strong leadership and managerial skills
• Ability to multi-task, flexible, results focused, creative, innovative, analytical, pays attention to details, minimum supervision, professional and an asset to the company

Work Hours: 8
