CARE international in Uganda seeks highly motivated and qualified development professionals with genuine commitment to gender equality and women and girls’ rights to fill up the position of Procurement and Logistics Officer based at CARE Head Office. Also CARE is soliciting for CV5 for potential candidates with various skills in Emergency work to please submit Cvs for anticipated funding from ECHO.
Job title: Procurement and Logistic Officer
Overall Purpose To implement all procurement and logistics activities at CARE Uganda Head Office effectively, ensuring various donor procurement requirements and compliance with CARE policies, procedures and systems as defined in CARE Uganda and CARE USA operations manual. The specific tasks will include;
• Implement the Procurement function at CUHQ in conformity with established policies and procedures
• Manage CUHQ transport function, inclusive of liaison with the sub-offices in a way that leads to the effective and efficient vehicle usage
• implement the CO inventory policy inclusive of asset register updating, asset movement tracking and ensure appropriate filing of all required documents
• Maintain all procurement related documentation and manage both Internal and External Customer Relationship
• Performance Management
