JOB DETAILS:
Main Function:
• The Project Coordinator will be responsible for implementation of the project interventions including community mobilization, sensitization and ensuring that the project integrates refugee and host community approaches.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education from a
• recognized institution.
• A post graduate diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation is an added advantage.
• At least 2 years’ experience in implementation of Education projects with a reputable organization.
• Ability to conduct capacity building trainings
• Excellent strategic planning skills as well as analytical and organizational skills. Ability to think critically and creatively.
• Experience in coordinating with schools/headteachers and governance structures (SMC & PTA local community structures and working with partners is desirable
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and tasks efficiently. Must be flexible and willing to perform other duties and work irregular hours.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues.
• Sensitivity to the needs and priorities of different sectors of the community, traditions, culture, beliefs of refugee/host community hierarchical structures.
• Must be capable of working both individually and as part of a team
• Knowledge of local or commonly used language is a MUST.
• Ability to ride motorcycle and valid riding permit is a MUST.
