Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage solar energy projects from inception to completion, ensuring all aspects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders, to ensure project success.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while monitoring progress and identifying potential risks and obstacles.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to determine project viability and resource requirements.
• Coordinate with regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance with all necessary permits and regulations.
• Implement and maintain effective project management practices, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders, addressing any concerns and providing solutions.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth within the team.
• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in project execution and processes.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Professional registration with the Uganda Engineers Registration Board (ERB) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in project management.
• At least 3 years of experience in the solar energy or renewable resources industry would be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Solid understanding of solar energy systems and renewable energy technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
