Job summary
Planning and execution of all programs, projects and activities related to Psycho-social support and Counselling
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and evaluate Psycho-social support and Counselling activities and campaigns.
Conduct psychosocial counselling and health education
Plan, coordinate and implement reintegration training
Conduct community outreach programs and mobilize survivors
Co-ordinate capacity building programs in providing basic Psychosocial and Mental Wellness support
Continuously document and report activities and success stories
Support in grant writing and activity budgeting
Implement community-based psychosocial support activities.
Education and Professional Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in counselling Psychology, Social Work, Social Sciences, Community and Org Psychology, Public Health, Health Sciences or any related discipline
Specialized training in sexual and reproductive health and counselling is highly desirable.
Working Experience
At least 3 years’ work experience in a similar position

Technical Competencies
Strong leadership and communication skills
Counselling skills
Proficiency in Psycho-social assessments, crisis intervention and case management
Proficiency in Stress Management and building resilience for individuals
Proficient in computer and Microsoft Office
Good writing, presentation and analytical skills
Linguistic skills are an added advantage
Behavioral Competencies
Compassionate
Excellent organizational skills
Good interpersonal skills and a team player
Adaptable and flexible
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Good time management skills
