Tender for Renovation Works at Child Fund Uganda

A good and conducive school environment plays a critical role towards effective teaching and learning practices. Classroom structures contribute greatly to this by providing a secure, and child-friendly learning environment. This enables learners to access high quality learning experiences that is essential for their physical, cognitive, social-emotional and language development. Child Fund Uganda with funding from Child Fund Korea is planning to renovate, partition, and make other structural improvements for classrooms in six (06) ECD centres in Palorinya refugee settlement.

Child Fund Uganda invites potential contractors to submit bids for renovation of the selected ECD centres within Palorinya refugee settlement.

Please Note:

1. Tender Documents with detailed information shall be obtained upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Fifty Thousand Shillings (50,000+) only at the cashier’s Office at Child Fund Moyo Field Office, Multi-Purpose in Meduqas Village, Moyo Municipality – Moyo District or Child Fund Country Office on Plot 71/72, Namirembe Road, Kampala.
2. The Tender Documents shall be obtained between 09:00am – 04:00pm, Monday to Thursday and 09:00am – 01:00pm on Fridays.
3. The Pre-site inspection for interested bidders is scheduled for Wednesday, 26th March 2025, 10:00am, with departure from Child Fund Moyo Field Office.
4. The deadline for picking the Tender Documents is Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
5. The deadline for submission of the Tender Bidding Documents is Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 04:00pm.
6. The Tender Bidding Documents received shall be opened on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 10:00am. Bidders are invited to attend the opening of the Bids at Child Fund Country Office on Plot 71/72, Namirembe Road, Kampala.
7. All bidders shall be informed of the outcome of the bidding process.
8. The Tender Bidding Documents in a clearly marked envelope “Tender for Renovation Works – Child Fund Uganda” should be addressed to:
