Job Description:
The District Health Officer will oversee the management and delivery of healthcare services in the district. They will be responsible for planning, supervising, and evaluating health programs to ensure effective healthcare service delivery and compliance with national health policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide technical and administrative guidance on health service delivery.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of district health plans and budgets.
• Monitor and evaluate health programs and activities.
• Supervise and mentor health workers in the district.
• Liaise with stakeholders to mobilize resources for health services.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery.
• Postgraduate qualification in Public Health or a related field.
• Registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council.
• At least five years of relevant working experience in health services management.
