Company Overview:
BFC manages ~6,500 hectares of Pine and Eucalyptus plantations, a sawmill, and a treatment plant, supplying forest products and biomass to local industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Oversee forest operations and stakeholder relations for sustainable forest management.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure adherence to Annual Plan of Operations (APO) and company standards.
- EHS Compliance: Implement Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) targets.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain relations with communities, interest groups, and residents.
- Business Development: Collaborate with Sales/Marketing to enhance product profitability.
- Customer Service: Resolve complex issues and maintain corporate image.
- Fire Management: Execute the Integrated Fire Management Plan (IFMP).
- Contractor & Staff Management: Recruit contractors, supervise staff, and design work plans.
- Data & Reporting: Ensure accurate production/chemical usage records and submit monthly reports.
- Security Coordination: Address forest security issues with relevant teams.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Leadership, analytical thinking, attention to detail.
- Effective communication and results-driven approach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Forestry.
