They are seeking a creative and results-driven Marketing Manager to spearhead its marketing initiatives in Uganda. This role is pivotal in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that build brand equity, drive sales growth, and expand market presence. Key responsibilties include;

Strategic Marketing

  • Develop, implement, and manage integrated marketing campaigns that align with business objectives and drive brand awareness.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer insights, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing strategies support overall business growth.

Brand Management

  • Lead brand positioning efforts, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Oversee the creation of engaging marketing materials and digital content that resonate with target audiences.
  • Maintain brand guidelines and monitor the brand's performance in the marketplace.

Digital & Traditional Marketing

  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and online platforms to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Manage traditional marketing initiatives including print, outdoor, and event marketing.
  • Analyze campaign performance using relevant metrics and optimize strategies accordingly.

Budget & Performance Management

  • Prepare and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of marketing activities.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, and partners to enhance marketing efforts.
  • Ensure seamless communication and collaboration across all marketing channels and functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, preferably within the FMCG sector.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools, analytics, and social media platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
