JOB DETAILS:
Job Summary:
The Public Relations Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to enhance the public image of UAC, create awareness of its programs, and strengthen stakeholder engagement.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement public relations and media strategies to promote UAC's activities.
2. Organize and coordinate press briefings, media events, and public engagements.
3. Draft press releases, articles, and newsletters for publication.
4. Manage the UAC’s social media platforms and website content.
5. Foster strong relationships with media houses and other stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements:
6. A Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
7. At least 3 years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field.
8. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.
9. Knowledge of digital marketing and social media management is an added advantage.
