Full Gospel Churches of Uganda is a body of churches with its head quarters at Makerere Full Gospel Church located along Makerere Hill Road.

These churches were first planted by a team of missionaries from Vancouver – Canada and they first named it as the GOSPEL MISSION TO UGANDA in the early 1960's. named FULL GOSPEL CHURCHES. These individual churches formed a body known as the FULL GOSPEL CHURCHES OF UGANDA.

Each of these Local Churches is self governing, self supporting and self propagating. She has a Pastor , deacons or deaconess, Church committee and many other sub committees as they are led by the spirit.

Makerere Full Gospel Church

Makerere Full Gospel Church, which is also the headquarters of the Gospel Mission to Uganda and the Full Gospel Churches of Uganda, is the first Pentecostal church in Uganda. The church was founded by Glad Tidings Missionary Society of Vancouver, Canada in 1960.

We’re a cell based church which embraces a lifestyle in which Jesus Christ is Lord demonstrated in the communities. Located in Uganda’s capital, Kampala, our mission is to transform into an army of spirit filled ministers holistically touching the city of Kampala and beyond with the love of Jesus Christ demonstrated in our proclamation, homes and personal lives.
