JOB DETAILS:
An events company is looking for personnel in various fields and below are some of the available positions.

Applications are invited from qualified personnel to fill the following positions

CREATIVE DIRECTOR
As a Creative Director, one’s major role is to come up with creative ideas for every event.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Follow up on availability of items for the preset idea for various events
• Ensure all required items are gotten in time
• Liaising with events managers to guide on how best to put everything in place for a unique out lay of any event.
• Write reports to company directors on planned implementation of ideas
• Create reports as required by top administration.
• Ensure weekly meetings of company workers.
• Create company awareness.
• Identification of best service providers for preset events.
• Ensure comprehensive research on new ideologies.
• Must ensure flexibility to do any other duty as assigned.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
A. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
National Diploma in any field, but with a creative mind.

B. EXPERIENCE
At least three (3) years practical experience in management. Working in an events company would be an added advantage. A recommendation letter from a previous workplace and staying near Kampala and Jinja Cities would also be an added advantage.

C. AGE
The applicant must be 21 - 33 years as at the close of the advert.

D. COMPETENCIES
(i) Technical Competencies
• Work and Activity scheduling skills.
• Ability to diagnose and solve problems.
• Ability to prove interest in events organization.
• Must be good at research and implementation.
• Must have good communication skills
• Must be a good listener to instruction
• Must have skills in Coordinating and monitoring.
• Ability to use hand and power tools/equipment.
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office).

(ii) Behavioral Competencies
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• A good team player in diverse environment
• Flexibility (ready to work beyond normal call of duty).
• Reliability with loyalty as a key factor.
• Precision and Attention to detail.
• Resilience in delivering work

E. PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE JOB
• Physical Strength: Ability to lift, handle, and move fairly heavy tools and
• materials.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to withstand hours of work while standing, crouching or taking other rigorous positions.
