JOB DETAILS:
Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans in possession of an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Planning; or Land Use Planning; or Urban and Regional Planning; or City/Urban Planning; or Town and Regional Planning; or any other related discipline from a recognized University / Institution.

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Physical Planner for performing the following duties:-
• Implementing research programmes and activities for the review and reform of the land use regulatory and compliance framework;
• Participating in the provision of technical support and capacity building trainings for Local Governments and other stakeholders in the field of land use regulation and compliance;
• Updating the Geographical Information System and preparing land use maps/plans;
• Implementing field inspections to gather data necessary for an effective and efficient land use regulatory and compliance regime in the Country;
• Maintaining the Department’s compliance database;
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
