Uganda Martyrs University is a faith-based private, not-for-profit University and an equal opportunity employer owned by the Episcopal Conference of the Catholic Bishops of Uganda. The University is looking for suitably qualified persons to fill the following academic and administrative positions:
Organization: Uganda Martyrs University
Duty Station: Main Campus - Nkozi and Ngetta Campus
Reports to: Dean, Faculty of Agriculture
Academic Qualifications and Experience
The candidate should be in possession of a relevant Master’s Degree in Agronomy, Plant Breeding or Crop Science from a recognized institution. Possession of a PhD is an added advantage: S/he should at least have a second class honors - Upper division Bachelors Degree in Agronomy or Crop Science from a recognized institution. S/he should have a minimum teaching experience of 3 years at Assistant Lecturer or Lecturer level in a recognized University or in a related activity in a recognized institution. S/he should have satisfactory record of teaching, research, publication and service to the academic and wider community. .
