MACHINE OPERATOR (35 POSITIONS), KAMPALA
REPORTING TO THE PRODUCTION OFFICER, THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL;

Key Result Areas:
Plan and carry out preventive maintenance of production machines with the assistance of the Engineering team, * Operate production machines efficiently with less or no wastage,* Control wastage of materials and recycling,* Ensuring that the products produced are of good quality,* Adhere to health and safety practices,* To oversee housekeeping around the machine area, * Check the materials provided to ensure rightful amounts and materials are provided,* Inspect the machines regularly to ensure they are in good and operational condition,* Detect and report any faults to the Plant Maintenance Electrician/Mechanic,* Any other duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education with a bias in science subjects,* With at least 1 year’s relevant work experience in a manufacturing plant.

SKILLS & PROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
Ability to work independently should have effective communication skills, sound decision-making skills, and good behavioral morals,* Excellent integrity, flexibility, good interpersonal, problem-solving, and creativity skills. Should have a positive attitude, results focus, can work for long hours under pressure with minimum supervision,* Flexible & willing to be allocated anywhere as per the company’s requirements.
