Job summary
• The medical officers will be responsible for participant recruitment, clinical care, and data collection.

Roles and responsibilities
• Participating in screening of patients for potential enrolment
• Clinical assessment of patients
• Obtaining consent and counselling patients on study medications and procedures Including attending to patient concerns
• 4. Filling the trial documents/data collection tools by ensuring consistent and accurate Medical recordkeeping practices
• 5. Performing bed side tests
• 6. Dispensing study and other medications
• 7. Reporting of adverse events
• 8. Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards
• 9. Daily monitoring and follow up of trial participants
• 10. Ensuring safe and proper handling of trial documents
• 11. Attending weekly trial meetings
• 12. Providing weekly report on the above stated activities

Qualifications and skills
• ▪ mbchb
• ▪ registration with the medical and dental practitioners’ council with a valid annual
• Practicing license (apl).
• ▪ knowledge of regulatory requirements & good clinical practices (gcp)
• ▪ clinical trials research experience
• ▪ excellent written and verbal communication skills
