This is how it works:

Location : Iraq-Karbala City

Reports to : Site Manager & Project Manager

Salary : UGX 7,487,296/month

Requirements :

- Qualifications: Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering

- Computer literate with excellent oral and written communication skills

- Knowledge of Framework & Finishes theories and practices and Infrastructure works.

- Experience : Min. 16-18 years relevant work exp, GCC experience is a must

Purpose:

• To provide support for the Framework (Cast in Situ & Hollow-Core) and finished works such as (Plastering, False ceiling, painting, Handrails,..) as well as External works and Infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities :

1. Responsible for implementing and managing the Frame work Practice, QA/QC plan for the Finished works and external works / Infrastructure.
2. Make routine inspections for the Framework, finish works, External work and Infrastructure works at site on daily basis and close all submitted RFI's In order to raise the daily progress reports and release the contractors payments.
3. Coordinate with the QA & QC, Site Manager and Project Manager regarding work performance to the satisfaction of the Project Consultants.
4. Provide Logistic support to the project subcontractors at site.
5. Coordinate to Ensure that Non-Conformance Report (NCR) are raised once the activities deviated from the Project Specifications or normal construction industry practices.
6. Coordinate with the project staff to compile and maintain pertinent records of inspection and testing until the end of the contract.
7. Attend Weekly Progress Meetings and follow up on all related issues/matters.

Internal / External Communications:

Internally with QA/QC, Site Manager, Project Manager and other Departments in line with the project quality procedures.

Special Requirements / Features:

1. Knowledge of environmental management systems and vast experience in finishes works
2. Residence shall be provided by the company with 3 meals/day free of cost.
3. Working hours shall be 10 hrs/ day.
4. Working days - 6 days
