JOB DETAILS:
Accountant Budgeting and Reporting
The position will provide technical assistance for all aspects related to financial management and reporting. The F& R Accountant may be called upon as and when necessary to support the emergency team in cases of humanitarian crisis. The accountant budgeting and reporting works closely with accountants in the field offices and the accounting department at Country office to ensure aspects of donor financial reporting and budgeting are diligently addressed in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• A minimum of a Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration or finance management and a minimum of level 2 of a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, is an added advantage
• At least 2 years relevant experience working with International NGO’s particularly those addressing human/children’s rights and those applying partnership approaches is essential
• Strong analytical skills and strategic planning abilities.
• Computer literacy and excellent documentation skills are a must
• Willingness to travel and work in hard-to-reach areas, occasionally under strenuous conditions.

• Availability and willingness to work extra hours during times of humanitarian responses.
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching
• Excellent time management and planning capacity
