Job Summary
• Ability to drive growth in the Agriculture Sector through generation of creditable
• Agriculture pipeline, structure Agriculture facilities, develop a business credit case and lead the due diligence up to Credit approval.
• Ability to proactively identify potential investment partners in the Agricultural Sector.
• Ability to design specific innovative transactions and align them with institutional objectives, knowledge sharing, provide input and comments on project, policy and sector operations, participate in relevant teams for planning and programming purposes, development of department knowledge and management strategy.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.

Job Description

Responsibilities include:
Generate Agriculture Pipeline and assist the Business Relationship Managers with the origination of structured Agriculture credit proposals within acceptable turnaround times; grow the bank’s Agriculture lending book while maintaining a high quality of lending assets through timely preparation of good quality credit applications; interpreting business and financial information e.g. balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements and management accounts with inter-company loans borrowings, in order to prepare and motivate non-scored credit applications in line with Credit requirements; interacting with clients to obtain and analyze financial material, that is Debtors lists, Management accounts, cash flow budgets, in terms of agreed covenants; prepare formal credit applications within acceptable turnaround times assisting with any credit aspects relating to the deal up to the point of final drawdown under the facility; and build credit partnership with relevant stakeholders and communication among others.

Education
Higher Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
