Job Description
• Participates in the Geology workload necessary to meet the project Geosciences (2G & R) macro-objectives.
• Follow-up the drilling operations to ensure an efficient placement of the 426 development wells.
• Perform structural & geological interpretations of the subsurface and the associated uncertainties together with geophysicists.
• Participate in the geological & structural interpretations and the associated uncertainties assessment.
• Participate in the baseline monitoring of the reservoirs, cap rock integrity studies and communicate any variations.
• Participate in the project’s food-print & GHG emission activities.
• Propose improvements to achieve Project goals and helps in their implementation.
• Participate the Well SORs preparation in close collaboration with the geophysicists, reservoir engineers, Operation Geology & drilling teams (objectives, well trajectory, target box, section TD criteria, data acquisition).
• During drilling operations, ensure the most appropriate support on geological interpretation to safely deliver the wells and achieve their objectives. Ensure good communication with Ops Geology, geophysicists, reservoir engineers and Drilling teams.
• Ensure the pertinence of the geological data and apply the best practice in managing these data, together with the Geoinformation team.
• Ensure the integration of the wells results during development drilling campaign; assess the impact for the following development wells design, update the reservoir models.
• Contribute to the documentation and reporting required by the Local Authorities (PRR, ARR, …).
• Propose continuous improvements on the way the team (2G) works.
• Coach less experienced Geologists.
• Participate in the activities related with the geology of the non-operated assets (Kingfisher).
• Follow-up the geological-related studies carried by the Technical Line in HQ.

Candidate profile
• Minimum Bsc or Msc in Geology
• Minimum of 5 – 8 years of experience as reservoir geologist with experience in: geological & structural interpretation, reservoir characterization, structural & geological modeling, uncertainty analysis, and well Integration.
• Exposure to well preparation activities (Well SOR), follow up of drilling wells operations, log interpretation, petrophysical synthesis & modeling, studies of overburden/Cap Rock monitoring is a plus.
• Demonstrated team spirit, solidarity, good communication skills, commitment & efficiency, work in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams
