CALL FOR A CONSULTANT TO DEVELOP THE ORGANIZATION'S RESOURCE MOBILISATION STRATEGY

ABOUT UNYPA
The Uganda Network of Young People living with HIV & AIDS (UNYPA) is a youth led and youth serving non- governmental organization established in 2003 to provide leadership and coordinate meaningful engagement and participation of young people living with HIV (YPLHIV) in Uganda in the national, regional and global HIV/AIDS response. UNYPA's advocacy is driven by the needs of YPLHIV hence implements evidence informed national programs for YPLHIV to lead healthy, productive and positive lives.

The elements of UNYPA's national advocacy includes promoting universal access to HIV prevention, treatment, care & support; fighting stigma and discrimination against YPLHIV while promoting the effective youth focused, adolescent responsive leadership in ending AIDS by 2030.

VISION: Positive and productive lives for all young people living and affected by HIV and AIDS.

MISSION: Create an enabling environment for all young people living and affected by HIV and AIDS to meaningfully participate equally in development of programs that improve their livelihood.

CORE VALUES: Honesty, Integrity, Transparency, Team work and Collective responsibility.

PRINCIPAL APPROACHES: Capacity building, Advocacy, Health education and promotion, Systems strengthening, Strengthening partnerships and collaborations.

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE FOR THE CONSULTANCY

UNYPA is a registered Non-Governmental Organization and over the past 20 years it has been operating as guided by its constitution.

As the organization is celebrating its 20 years of existence, it is necessary to review the objectives and make other amendments adapting to the changing environment and this includes developing an organizational M&E system.
