Nile Vocational institute Njeru is looking for a candidate with high integrity and strong leadership abilities to fill the position of Deputy Director finance and Administration. Reports to: The Director and will be in charge of ensuring proper financial management and accountability for the resources of NVl, Ltd Njeru and the general administration of the institution.

Reports to: The Deputy Director, Training and Academics He/she will be in charge ol general students’ welfare N480 i.e., accommodation, meals, discipline, leadership, communal work, extracurricular activities, among others

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• To ensure that the general students welfare is ideal for their good academic performance.
  
• Provide strategic and operational direction to the department of students’ affairs
  
• Ensure that the institute rules and regulations (discipline code) is properly understood by all and implemented
  
• Coordinate extracurricular activities and ensure lair competition at color levels
  
• Manage student’s personal files
  
• Plan for and ensure effective counseling for students
  
• Provide guidance tor students politics among others

Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills The ideal candidate should possess,

• A Bachelor’s Degree Educational Adult and Community Education or any relevant field obtained from a recognized University
  
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
  
• At least 3 years of working experience in a tertiary institution, at least one of which Should be at magenerial level
  
• An admirable character, professionalism, strategic leadership and should be able to work under minimum supervision and for longer hours,
  
• Innovative and creative skills that do not only enable the students to perform well in academics but also create a conducive atmosphere for learning and harmony between the students and staff.
  
• Properly married.
