On behalf of our Client in the Extractives sector, we are looking for competent individuals to fill the following position:

Drilling Performance Engineer

ACTIVITIES
At all times the job holder will:
• Contribute to the development and deployment of digital solutions in order to improve the performance of the Drilling & Wells operations. This could involve use of solutions such as Excel, PowerBI and SAP at a proficiency level (up to programming / VBA).
• Adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regard to HSE rules with associated implementation and control within his area of responsibility.
• Participate to 24/7 operation tracking and evaluation within RTOC (Real-Time Operation Center) to prevent major incidents and track performances (1 well drilled every 4 days with 3 drilling rigs, ~430 wells to track). Anti-collision and directional drilling / landing in drain are amongst the key challenges requiring monitoring and support.
• Participate to the Drilling & Well Improvement Process (DWIP) of the Tilenga project, with the main objective to document achievable minimum operation duration and costs, within the specific context of the project (factory drilling, learning curve factor, remote area), without compromising safety and environment. This includes the analysis of operations already performed and the application of good well engineering practices with significant impact on the cost of the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Qualification:
• Master of Degree: Petroleum engineering, or IT/Computer sciences.
Experience:
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience.
• Experience in IT/Computer/Programming is a plus.
• Very good interpersonal skills, dynamic, fluent in English.
• Excellent understanding of digital tools.
• Ability to acquire multidisciplinary operational competencies in drilling, completion.
• Innovation and performance minded.
