Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Editor/Camera Operator who will be instrumental in bringing our stories to life. This full-time position is based in Nakawa, where you will work closely with our team to craft compelling narratives that resonate with our audience. You will thrive in a collaborative environment, showcasing your creativity and technical skills to produce high-quality video content.

Key Responsibilities
1. Organize and string together raw footage into a continuous whole according to scripts or the instructions of directors and producers.
2. Edit films and videotapes to insert music, dialogue, and sound effects, arranging films into sequences, and correcting errors using editing equipment.
3. Set up and operate computer editing systems, electronic titling systems, video switching equipment, and digital video effects units to produce a final product.
4. Determine the specific audio and visual effects and music necessary to complete films.
5. Work closely with audio, visual, music, optical, or special effects departments to manipulate plot, score, sound, and graphics.

Essential Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma in Film, Media, or other related fields.
- 1-2 years of experience in video editing and production.
- Proficiency in editing software such as Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, and sound editing software like Adobe Audition.
- Strong skills in active listening, complex problem solving, and time management.
- Knowledge in communications and media, production and processing, and proficiency in computers and electronics.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customer and personal service, sales, and marketing.
- Skills in critical thinking, coordination, and effective speaking.
