JOB DETAILS:
BACKGROUND
Biyinzika Poultry International Limited (BPIL) is the leading integrated poultry company and a recognized household brand within Uganda. BPIL produces and distributes quality day-old chicks and HACCP certified animal feed through over 40 branches within Uganda and the East African region. BPIL also produces chicken meat products under the Pearl Chicken Brand.
BPIL is looking to recruit a suitable candidate for the position below:
Job Title: Electrician
Duty station: Bulemezi

Key Responsibilities;
• Installation of electrical elements to machinery at the factories, farms and other BPIL locations including, lights among other electrical equipment.
• Trouble shooting and investigating any electrical problems or challenges at company sites.
• Maintenance of existing electrical machinery at all BPIL locations as per the set maintenance schedule
• Record keeping and stock taking of electrical related tools and equipment.
• Development of boqs and quotations in electrical related works
• Work to a professional standard by ensuring and implementing Health and Safety SOPS.
• Other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Education: Certificate in Electrical and valid class D ERA wiring permit
Experience: 1-2 years' experience in similar/ relevant position.
Knowledge & Competencies: Electrical Operations Knowledge, Interpersonal and Communication skills, Detail Oriented and able to work with a high Degree of Accuracy
