Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Finance Manager to join our leadership team. In this role, you will oversee all financial functions and play a key role in strategic planning and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate brings financial expertise, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach to managing finance operations, reporting, and compliance. This is a critical role aimed at driving financial performance, supporting business growth, and ensuring long-term financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies that align with company growth objectives.
- Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Oversee timely and accurate financial reporting, including statutory reports, management accounts, and performance analysis.
- Deliver actionable financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage annual budgeting processes and monitor budget adherence.
- Implement cost control measures to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor liquidity and manage working capital to ensure business continuity.
- Identify areas for cash optimization and financial efficiency.
- Ensure full compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and internal policies.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through robust financial controls and governance.
- Strengthening internal control systems across key financial processes, including inventory, payroll, invoicing, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to build capability, ownership, and performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders such as auditors, regulators, and tax advisors.
- Report financial results and recommendations to senior leadership and the Board.
- Stay updated on changes in the tax and regulatory environment.
- Oversee efficient and compliant tax planning and filing processes.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and manage the company’s capital structure to support growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong experience in budgeting, financial reporting, inventory, and cash flow management.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (especially Tally) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Effective communication skills for both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Familiarity with digital tools and financial automation is a plus.
