JOB DETAILS:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technology Leadership & System Architecture
• Execute and evolve the Digital Transformation Roadmap to digitize end-to-end business processes, reducing the number of steps, improving control, reducing complexity, saving time, and eliminating bureaucracy.
• Served as chief architect, overseeing technical systems and infrastructure design and scalability across six markets that supports scalability, flexibility, and data security.
• Evaluate technology trends and developments to identify opportunities for digital transformation.
• Evaluate, select, and deploy software and hardware solutions to address business challenges and opportunities.
• Manage Digital Transformation budget, including setting budgets, approving expenditures, etc.
• Map and analyze existing workflows, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for simplification.
• Ensure all systems and processes adhere to data protection regulations and cybersecurity best practices.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Change Management
• Drive a culture of simplification, acceptance of change, and innovation by fostering employee engagement, managing resistance, and ensuring smooth transitions during process and digital transformations.
• Develop training programs and communication plans to ensure transition and adoption.
• Own the successful rollout of customer-facing applications across markets for streamlined order placement, tracking, and payments.

Data Visualization and Analytics
• Lead the Analytics team, including working cross-functionally to design, develop, and implement PowerBI interactive dashboards that assist leaders in driving data-led decisions.
• Review and improve existing reports to make them more actionable, understandable, or reliable.
• Establish advanced analytics and visualization tools, enabling real-time performance monitoring and KPI tracking.

Team Development & Collaboration
• Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing multidisciplinary team of 15+ software engineers, data analysts, and IT professionals.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth implementation of technical solutions across departments.
• Foster a culture of innovation, adaptability, and continuous improvement.

KEY KPIs
• Technology user adoption in line with targets set for each rollout
• Digital initiatives delivered on time and on budget
• Digital infrastructure is highly reliable (99% uptime), highly secure (no serious cybersecurity incidents), and high fidelity (data entry is accurate and final KPIs are reliable)

QUALIFICATIONS
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Technical Expertise: 6-8 years of experience in software development, systems architecture, or digital transformation leadership.
• Leadership: Proven track record of managing high-performing technical teams and driving cross-functional initiatives
• Innovative Mindset: Ability to identify and align emerging technologies with business goals; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Communication: Experience working in a multicultural environment and communicating cross-functionally; preference for candidates with 3+ years experience in the region
• Impact-driven: Passion for leveraging technology to drive socio-economic transformation.
• Flexibility: Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.

Experience working with the following tools is strongly preferred:
• Microsoft Suite: Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
• Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI
• Azure
• Node.js and React / React Native
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Firebase
• AppSheets
• Understanding of SQL and experience with database design
• Understanding of REST API development and API integrations
