JOB DETAILS:
DAKS Hotel is one of the fastest-growing Hotels in Uganda, offering incredible hospitality services.
Located in Kirinyaga, Bweyogerere Division.
Daks Hotel needs experienced professionals, with integrity to take up the following open vacancies;
Job title: Hotel Manager.
Job Role: Plan and coordinate activities, oversee operational activities of housekeeping, front desk and security. Ensure profitability of the hotel, excellent customer service and account for all the revenues.

Key Result Areas:
1. Manage and account for hotel operations and implement service standards to maximize guest satisfaction.
2. Oversee and be responsible for room rate and room inventory management for the hotel (Door lock system, beddings, room and bathroom consumables etc...).
3. Plan, market the hotel services and attain a sustained gross revenue growth of 5% for the hotel per month.
4. Oversee purchasing of the hotel supplies and account for all supplies and services within established budgets.
5. Manage the performance of the hotel staff and ensure timely execution of activities as per the daily schedules and provision of professional and quality services.
6. Ensure maintenance of general hygiene and security for the hotel at all times.
7. Recruit and Train or orient new staff on a need basis as approved by management.
8. Bank all the money received and account for the hotel revenues.

Person Specifications:
• Degree / Higher Diploma in Tourism and Hotel Management, Leisure and hospitality, Business Administration or any related field.
• At least four years’ experience in hotel or hospitality management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service.
• Knowledge of hotel management controls and willingness to learn new software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
