JOB DETAILS:
Reports to: University Secretary (US)
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position
• Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
• Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics and reliability
• BSc/BA in business administration, social studies or relevant field; Post graduate studies in related fields.
Key results
• The vision, mission, and philosophy of ARU are embraced.
• Compensation, benefits and performance management systems, and safety and recreation programs are administered.
• Guidelines and strategies of implementing the Human Resource Policy Document are developed and administered.
• Staff vacancies and recruitment, interview and selection of applicants are identified in time. 80
• Human resources allocation and ensuring appropriate match between personnel.
• Staff development plans are made and implemented.
• The Staff appraisal guidelines are administered.
• Current and prospective employees are provided with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
• Staff counseling is conducted, disputes between staff are refereed.
• Disciplinary procedures are administered.
