JOB DETAILS:
Qualifications:
The applicable candidate must have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
• Must be a holder Bachelors Degree in Journalism or Communication (1st class or 2nd class upper).
• Should have graduated from Uganda Christian University not more than three years ago.

Specific Roles:
• Produce well-researched content for online and print publication.
• Gathering and publishing on the website plus other social media platforms research work and university projects
• Supporting data collection efforts to enhance day-to-day website-update effort
• Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the university’s mission to pitch story ideas and content.
• Produce and post journalistic articles for the university website.
• Perform any other official duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:
• Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated both in print and digital platforms.
• Excellent English-language proficiency
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with a team
• Willingness and openness to learning
