JOB DETAILS:
Reporting to Senior Laboratory Technician, the successful candidate shall be required to perform the following duties;
• Carry out tests on raw milk, milk products and other dairy related samples.
• Ensure adherence to good laboratory practice and Laboratory quality management system.
• Carry out proper sample collection and ensure appropriate reception, and storage.
• Keep clear records of all laboratory tests for traceability and appropriate action.
• Maintain inventory of all laboratory reagents and equipment.
• Plan, implement, monitor, evaluate and report on laboratory operations.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications and experience
• Honours is Degree in Laboratory Technology or Honours Degree in Bio – Chemistry or Honours Degree in Chemistry or Honours Degree in Biology or any relevant Honours degree from a recognized University.
• Post Graduate Qualification in a relevant field is added advantage.
• At least two (2) years of Laboratory experience.
