Job Title: Manager Subscriber Fraud Management
Reporting to: Senior Manager Revenue Assurance & Fraud Mgt
Division – Finance
No. of Vacancies: 1

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job
• To provide secondary level oversight on Revenue assurance and business controls
• To support other RAFM operations deliverables towards revenue opportunities

Main Job Functions:
• Manage subscriber related fraud, process and systems that may lead to the same.
• Ensure operationalisation and value for money for risk systems
• Manage vendors and vendor performance KPIs including contract validity and payments
• Implement the risk and fraud management framework
• Liaise with the Revenue assurance to investigate any cases of suspicion
• Innovate and implement risk management solutions across potential areas of leakage
• Develop revenue improvement opportunity proposals to business especially relating to reduction of risk to the business.
• To support the local OPCOs operations infrastructure for the performance of Revenue Assurance controls, business support, and query management.
• Support incident closure and escalation the incident management process relating to revenue and cost-impacting issues within MTN
• Report to board

Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Telecom Engineering, Statistics, Finance and / or relevant field

Experience & Skills:
• Ambiguity within the workplace
• Audit Complexity within the workplace

• Forensic investigation Fraud investigation
• GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
• Influencing others Information processing
• Problem solving in complex environments
• Risk management preferably in Telecommunications industry
• Ability to use analysis models and identify targets within a large pool of data beyond 3million records
• At least 2 years of experience in a complex, technology-oriented industry
• Knowledge of network principles, systems and interconnectivity allows the individual to perform role without constraint.
• A good appreciation of telecommunications technology, products and systems.
• At least 2 years of working knowledge with internal control and governance systems and environments is essential
• At least 2 years’ experience of data analytics

Other Training:
• Essentials of Business Intelligence (BI) concepts with large data
• Essentials of auditing and Investigation’s skills in complex teleco environments
• SQL and SQL scripting. Basic understanding of databases
• Telecommunications technology concepts and networking
• MTN consumer products
• Forensic investigation
• GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
