POSITION DETAILS
1. Proven experience as machinist Experience in using and/or programming CNC and semi-automated or automated machines (lathes, grinders etc.)
2. Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers, gauges etc) to take accurate measurements
3. Experience in using CAD software
4. Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals
5. Good at math with analytical abilities
6. Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items

EDUCATIONAL & PREVIOUS WORK REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE Associate's degree from two-year college or technical school; and 5-8 years related experience in repairing and rethreading OCTG connections.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
2. Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as portability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
3. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions fumished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

1. Possess a broad background in mechanical manufacturing with a wide range of knowledge on manufacturing and production processes, related to the industries which NDT Service.
2. Have a working understanding of production planning & scheduling.
3. Have a working understanding of health and safety best practice and legislation.
4. Have a working understanding of the principles and tools of NDT.
5. Possess experience in the operating within ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
6. Be comfortable dealing with and efficient in processing paperwork.
7. Possess a working understanding of leadership principles and management best practice.
8. Possess good verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer focused working environment.
9. Be personally energetic, dynamic, positive, enthusiastic and possess the ability to think laterally and act through reasoned decision making.
10. Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative. and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
11. Possess the ability to implement and manage change in the business.
12. Possess strong computer skills and competency in basic MS Office applications.
13. Possess strong knowledge and understanding of BHA equipment, Drill Pipe and Casing/ Tubing inspection.
14. Possess strong knowledge of DS-1 Cat 3-5-dimensional inspection.
15. Possess strong knowledge of equipment calibration

EDUCATIONAL & PREVIOUS WORK REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE
1. Minimum High school diploma or general education development certificate MT Level II Certificate from approved training institute
2. PT Level II Certificate from approved training institute UTT Level II Certificate from approved training institute Knowledgeable in DS-1, API, and NS-2standards UT drill-pipe end area inspection & premium threads would be an advantage 5-8 years' experience in Oil and Gas industry
